Quality Systems Inc. bought Atlanta-based emergency department documentation and web-based electronic medical record provider The Poseidon Group Inc.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Irvine, Calif.-based Quality Systems (NASDAQ: QSII) said the acquisition will expand its NextGen Inpatient Solutions product.
Poseidon Group Chief Operating Officer Carr Scott and Chief Technology Officer W. Kyle Taylor will take senior roles within NextGen Healthcare.
