RODNEY HANSEN, You were a veteran. Why are you not over at the VA seeking some assistance. I work for Veterans Affairs and they treat almost every disease. You are a Vet and you should be seeking some assistance from the VA. Just ask and find out what can be done for your healthcare needs. I have never seen a vet refused unless it was because he or she were dishonorably discharge and have no benefits coming to them. Get some help and counseling,.

Yes you do deserve the medi-cal, you worked and have paid into the system. For those that are constantly draining the system and they have contributed little or nothing to the system, they need to be addressed. You are an exception. i am sorry that your own inferiority complexes about having to have medi-cal at this time in your life has had an impact on you. You worked for the city of Los Angeles and this is what you are left with. Your anger about your fall from the middle class is clearly misguided and misdirected. You should still have some coverage after retirement or medical disability. The system is suppose to help folks like yourself that genuinely need it.
